2010 - for real?

I am a terrible blogger. It has been months since I've posted anything. I have so much to say too. Let's start with this...Elliot got in trouble yesterday at daycare. He and his best friend Patrick were standing in their cribs partying. He is in a new classroom now (Lambs) and is taking advantage of his new teachers. His old teacher, Tanya, was called in to help. She swaddled him and lulled him into the deep sleep he is used to being in when he naps at daycare. I have a feeling that this transition will take a little longer than they imagined. At least he has his best friends with him (Patrick, Kallen, and Ellie).

Elliot is crawling all over the place. He pulls himself up on everything and has actually mastered two or three stairs in our house (I was frantic when I found him on the way up to greet me that scary morning a few days ago).

We had a good holiday. Let's just say Elliot was a bit on the cranky side though. We welcomed two new teeth and another (supposed) ear infection over break (2 different pediatricians saw him in a 24 hour period and one said his ear was totally inflamed which was then treated with a Rocefin shot. The other doc said that it was totally gone the next day- Rocefin doesn't clear infections that quickly...hmmm....). This time, although hesitantly, we decided to move forward with tubes. His surgery is scheduled for 1/27/10. Not sure really what to expect, but I hear it is quick and virtually painless. More to come soon.
